Yo all!
We will organize tonight a FULL SCALE 10Man tournament. Games will begin at 22 EET. If you want to play, join #haxball.10man on IRCNet before 21:50 EET. Rules will be added to this topic shortly.
Rules of tonight's 10Man tournament:
3 preliminary rounds will be played. 10 players who accumulate the most points in their 2 best preliminary round runs qualify for the final. Points are awarded as follows:
1st place: 50
2nd place: 40
3rd place: 32
4th place: 25
5th place: 19
6th place: 13
7th place: 8
8th place: 4
9th place: 2
10th place: 1
As you may have noticed, we have more than 10 players participating so, for each preliminary round, an n number of players will be placed in queue and they will miss the following round. Example: total number of players participating is 14. Places 7-10 of preliminary round 1 will be placed on queue for round 2. They will return for round 3, for which the places 7-10 of round 2 will be placed on queue.
Example of point accumulation:
7th place in round 1 = 8 pts
3rd place in round 2 = 32 pts
9th place in round 3 = 2 pts
Total: 32 + 8 = 40 pts (only 2 best amounts of points count)
Final will be played as a normal full round of 10man.
